2015-2017
In 2015-2017, we are implementing a project within the framework of the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014-2020.
(European Regional Development Fund)
For the priority axis: III. Competitiveness of SMEs
For the measure: 3.2 Innovation in SMEs.
Project value: PLN 1,581,996.60
EU funding for the project: PLN 553,698.81
The project involves the implementation of a technological innovation in the company, through the use of WPC (Wood Plastics Composites) plastic in the production process for the manufacture of disposable products in the form of dishes and cutlery and other disposable products. WPC plastic has environmentally friendly characteristics (compared to the polystyrene used until now), as it is 100% of natural origin. Wood-plastic composite (WPC) is classified not only as a renewable material but also as a biodegradable material - it meets the latest European standards for compostability and biodegradability: EN13432 and EN14995. Based on the company's own research, the aforementioned production was found to be possible. Highly technologically advanced material will ensure adequate strength properties of the product. The project is based on the latest available technological solutions developed by the applicant.
