In accordance with the European Union directive – reusable cutlery

The restrictions imposed by the European Union on the introduction of disposable cutlery to the market (since July 2021) have created a huge challenge for us to adapt our products to multiple use.

Our latest cutlery is fully compliant with all requirements stipulated in the SUP Directive, so its sale will not be banned from July 2021.

The cutlery is a reusable and dishwasher safe product. Dishwasher cleaning does not impair its properties.

Wooden cutlery

The innovative combination of materials allowed us to achieve very good mechanical properties with a very high proportion of natural raw material, which is FSC-certified wood. Nowadays ecology is definitely one of the most important factors influencing the decisions of conscious consumers, therefore we have reduced the amount of polymer by as much as 40% and replaced it with natural wood. Additionally, due to the durability of the cutlery, it can be reused. That is why we can say with full confidence that our solution is ECO-friendly.

Safety is very important for us, which is why we use raw materials that are approved for contact with food and even toys for children. Moreover, we have performed all necessary tests of our products.

WPC, i.e. wood-polymer composite, is also very resistant to temperature, cutlery maintains its rigidity without any problems even when used at 95°C. Therefore its durability is significantly higher than that of other cutlery made from alternative materials such as PLA.

The wood content of cutlery does not adversely affect its ability to be further recycled and reprocessed into another product. As with conventional polymers, wood-based materials can be processed several times.
