At Fameks, we believe that sustainable development is not just a trend, but a necessity. Since 2005, we have been constantly striving to minimise our impact on the environment, introducing innovative technological and process solutions thereby staying well ahead of EU legislation.

Renewable energy – photovoltaics for the future
In 2019, we installed our first 50 kWp photovoltaic system, which covered more than 15% of our annual electricity needs. In 2025, we completed a further phase of investment, increasing the capacity of the installation to more than two-thirds of our annual energy consumption. This has made us more energy independent and reduced our CO₂ emissions.
Heat recuperation – an innovative energy recovery system
We installed a proprietary heating and cooling system that enables 100% recuperation of process heat. This recovers energy from production processes, allowing it to be reused and significantly reducing primary energy consumption.
FSC certified – responsible sourcing of raw materials
We use FSC-certified raw materials, which means that the lignocellulose used in our products comes from responsibly managed forests. In this way, we support sustainable forest management and care for the future of our forests.
Modern warehouse – an investment in efficiency
In 2025, we commissioned a modern warehouse designed with energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact in mind. The new facilities allow for better work organisation, optimisation of logistics processes and further reduction of energy consumption.
We are not resting on our laurels. We plan to continue investing in environmentally friendly technologies and further improving the energy efficiency of our production processes. Our goal is not only to adapt to market requirements, but also to actively shape the future in the spirit of sustainable development.
